As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you are at the centre of aviation, maintaining and servicing aircraft. It’s a position absolutely crucial to the industry, no aircraft can take off without being checked by an engineer. Maintenance engineers enjoy the challenge of discovering and fixing physical problems with aircraft. There is always something new to learn with so many different aircraft. You can specialise in a variety of areas; Avionics, Aircraft Engines and Components, Structural Integrity, Electrical Systems, Flight Management, Navigation Systems or Communications Systems. You work under the supervision of a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME).
